Our Beginning 

Our journey started in the beginning of 2025, when my mom inspired me by teaching me how to make macarons. It was a huge trial and error process, and I became intrigued at how something with only a few ingredients could possibly be so difficult to master. My curiosity quickly turned into an obsession. Sometimes making as many as seven different batches a day, slowly changing one thing at a time. I was determined to make the perfect macaron. Nowadays my mom has retired from her macaron baking days and leaves the baking to me. She tells me, “Mine just don’t compare to yours anymore!” Hence where the name Better than Mom’s Macarons came from. What first began as a hobby, quickly grew into something more as we started attending local Farmers Markets and sharing our handcrafted treats with neighbors, friends, and families. In early 2026, we took the next step and opened our first shop — turning a small market stand dream into a sweet storefront reality.
